What Would It Take To Start a Fire in Los Angeles

As people are being forced out of their homes and onto the streets or into their cars – due to rising rents and stagnant wages – the planet is getting warmer. Climate change is leading to colder, wetter winters in Southern California, contributing to hundreds of homeless deaths a year while rising temperatures throughout the year are resulting in fires that are threatening not just rural areas of California, but more densely populated urban areas like Los Angeles.
